[Wishlist Wednesday is a book blog hop hosted by Pen to Paper]
It’s another Wednesday which means it’s time to add another book to my wishlist! This week I’m adding the popular book The Goldfinch by Donna Tartt to my list.
If you haven’t heard yet, Donna Tartt’s The Goldfinch just won the Pulitzer prize for fiction the other day and it reminded me how I still need to read this book! It’s a daunting 771 pages, but I’ve heard nothing but good things about it. Here’s the Goodreads synopsis:
“A young boy in New York City, Theo Decker, miraculously survives an accident that takes the life of his mother. Alone and determined to avoid being taken in by the city as an orphan, Theo scrambles between nights in friends’ apartments and on the city streets. He becomes entranced by the one thing that reminds him of his mother, a small, mysteriously captivating painting that soon draws Theo into the art underworld.”
I’m so intrigued! I definitely look forward to reading this book when I have a little more free time.
Have you read The Goldfinch? What did you think? Did you add anything to your wishlist this week?
I have never read this one but, I have seen it around. I hope you get it soon!

Thank you! PS. I tried commenting on your blog but the captcha was acting strange – it kept refreshing before I could comment!
Sooo good! I hope you love it when you finally do read it!
Thank you! I’m hearing a lot of good things so I’m hopeful! Now where to fit this book into my reading schedule is another question…
